Now.......A LITTLE ABOUT ME...... I was born and raised in Rochester and love it here except for the long winters. Some of my favorite things are the ocean, bright colors and CATS..We have 4. We also have a long haired miniature dachshund named Louie! ! live in W. Irondequoit (on the lake, the next best thing next to the ocean)with my husband Steve. We have 1 daughter, Stella, our son-in-law, Eric and 3 grandsons, Ryan (16), Joel(14) and Matt (12)!

 This is our suggested wedding budget worksheet. You may have to adjust the percentages allocated for each budget category. The values listed here are a guide on what to expect expenses to be. In some cases, there isn't enough money allocated in a category to cover known expenses. Therefore the amounts in other categories need to be reduced, an alternative and less expensive choice needs to be made, and/or more total dollars need to become available.

Reception (45%)
Your food and beverages will eat up the largest percentage of your budget. This category includes:

  • Site fee, if applicable
  • Catering costs (including tax and tip)
  • Bar and non-alcoholic drinks, punch, shots, etc.

This is where you put all the miscellaneous items that can really add up to BIG MONEY!! If you choose all of the little extra touches, you will go way over your alloted 6%. You need to make a choice on how important each category is to you and "borrow" percentage points from other categories which may be less important to you. Items usually needed:
